Growing up, there was this amazing lilac bush in my parents' backyard. Even as a young girl, I was drawn to the calming purples and the gentle scent in the air. As a young woman, I would sit back there and tell the lilac bush my hopes and my secrets. That lilac bush was a comfort during a bad breakup, but also witness to my healing and growth. This soap brings me back--as though my nose is being tickled with those soft petals from so long ago. If you have a fondness for lilac as I do, you will absolutely LOVE this soap.
One of my daughters bought this for me when she spotted it at Zebs General Store in NH.. I have been telling everyone how much I love Joy Lane Farm's lotions & this is no exception. When I apply this lotion it smells like there are lilac bushes blooming tight outside my window! Not overly fragrant- just the right scent. Many lilac ( & lavender) lotions smell too fragrant or have a chemical smell but that's not the case w/ this Lilac Shea butter lotion. Highly recommend!!
