Peppermint Beeswax Lip Balm

Ingredients: Coconut Oil (Cocos Nucifera), Beeswax, Apricot Kernel Oil (Prunus Armeniaca), Avocado Oil (Persea Gratissima), Essential Oil(s), Tocopherol Acetate (Vitamin E)

Our lip balms come in a .5 oz. tube
(Over 3x the size of the average .15 oz. plastic lip balm!)

What do I do with it when it's done?

Our lip balm tubes are 100% compostable. Toss them in your compost pile or fireplace and enjoy taking care of the planet :-)

Will it melt?

We use more beeswax in our lip balms than other natural lip balms, which raises the melting point. You won't have anything to worry about under most circumstances, but you could experience minimal melting if it was left in direct sunlight on a summer day over 95 degrees or in a car with the windows shut in the sun. Customers have left it in their car for the summer without issues.

Is the vitamin E natural?

Yes, we use a natural vitamin E.

What is the shelf life?

At a minimum, you can expect it to last over a year.

Years ago, we posted a picture of our peppermint lip balm in its plastic tube on Instagram. One of our customers from our local farmers market commented that she loved the formula, but wished it came in a cardboard tube. We source ALL of our product development ideas from our customers, so we decided to give it a try! A few months later, our first trial batch of cardboard lip balms were ready. They outsold the remaining plastic lip balms we had 5 to 1 and became our signature, 100% natural, compostable lip balms. We hope you love them as much as we do!
