Meet the Owners

Hi! We’re Joel and Katy, the owners of Joy Lane Farm. 

We’re second-generation soap-makers, and Joy Lane Farm is our little business in Rollinsford, NH. I waited tables and Katy taught high school math while we worked on new product formulations, built joylanefarm.com, and eventually made a leap of faith to pursue Joy Lane Farm full-time.

We read every email you write, LOVE getting product reviews, and develop all our new products based on your suggestions.

Right now, we have a soap studio in a classic New England Mill down the road from an 1800s mill house we are restoring while we save up for a farm property where we can make all our products on site. We have four little girls 😊

My mom was the original soap-maker and passed the reins to us when she and my dad went to serve on Mercy Ships as a nurse and transportation director. That’s why 1% of our sales go to Mercy Ships where our goal is to support a nurse full-time by the year 2027.
