Our shea butter lotion is thick and moisturizing, absorbs easily into your skin and leaves it feeling soft and smooth. It’s non-greasy and paraben-free. In addition to shea butter, we use non-GMO avocado and apricot kernel oils, rich in fatty acids and antioxidants like vitamin A and E. A little bit goes a long way!

Ingredients: Water, Shea Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii), Apricot Kernel Oil (Prunus Armeniaca), Avocado Oil (Persea Gratissima), Emulsifying Wax NF, Stearic Acid, Optiphen (Phenoxyethanol (and) Caprylyl Glycol), Fragrance Oil

**For naturally scented options using only essential oils, use our Lavender Shea Butter Lotion and our Lavender Lemongrass Shea Butter Lotion.

Shea Butter

Shea Butter is the star of our lotion! It’s a natural emollient that’s hydrating and softening for your skin. Plus, it contains several fatty acids (lineolieic, oleic, palmitic, and stearic!), improving your skins natural barrier.

Avocado Oil

Avocado oil is full of antioxidants like vitamins A and E and helps heal skin damaged by sunlight.

Apricot Kernel Oil

Light and quickly absorbed into the skin, apricot kernel oil is rich in omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids, which make it an excellent moisturizer.

FAQ

Is it a hand, body, or facial lotion?

Our lotion is thick and super moisturizing, recommended as both a hand and body lotion. We don't recommend it for facial use, since the skin on your face is typically oily, not dry.

Does it come in a travel size?

Not yet! The equipment to do three oz. tubes is pretty pricey, but we have it on our list for as soon as we can!

Our Shea Butter Lotion is:

    We reduce the water in our lotion, packing it with nutrient rich shea butter and avocado oil, so that it's thick, not runny. No fillers!

  • Non-Greasy

    Our lotion absorbs easily into your skin and leaves it feeling soft and smooth, not oily. A little bit goes a long way!

  • Paraben Free

    We make our lotions with Optiphen, a paraben-free and formaldehyde-free preservative, which protects them from mold and bacteria.

So good I bought it again

This lotion is a favorite - sinks right in, smells great - so when I ran out I bought more. Highly recommended. And, Lilac is the NH state flower.

Amazing

I will order again. Great scent and moisturizing. I like the lilac soap too. I don't know why I slacked off for a while ordering from JLF, but will be ordering again going forward. Repeating, lotion is terrific! It's scented just enough as to not be overpowering.

A soothing lotion with a lovely but not overwhelming lilac scent

I found this lotion in a hotel in New Hampshire. It was smooth and moisturizing and had a wonderful lilac scent. The scent was not overwhelming or heavy. I was happy to find out there was a bar soap to go with it. I will likely try some of the other scents also.

Yummy lotions

Very pleasant experience ~ highly recommend!
